Stirrup Leg Warmers

When I think about the 80' s I think "BIG". The 80' s was the years of big all; the big bands of hair, the big buckles of ear and the big epaulets. The too big clothing and on the first hair everywhere were seen.

I was in the secondary school in the mi to late 80; the s and was if my husband, but we grew in the different states. I grew in the New Jersey and it grew in the Kentucky. To flow these two states are and were very different of some manner. I think in a lot of New respects Jersey was the example of this decade. To clubs, on the walk, to the shore, in the galleries bargain over, the girls of Jersey could be seen with these big hair and these buckles of too big ears.

Having visited Kentucky several times during the decade end, at least in the hair department, they seemed to maintain themselves with us. The female ones in the family of my husband had big hair, nevertheless they seemed to be more in the permanent ones very stretched, at least more so than my friends and my family in the New Jersey.

I cannot begin probing how much the hairspray I must have used, probably at least a can a week. Today, if I wanted to go for this same look, I am not sure that I would know. Although I had certainly the hair and the buckles of too big ears and carried my party of cosmetic one, I tended to be preppie in my wardrobe.

The dances and the return to the home were a time really to do an effort maximum. The dresses were in every color of l'arc-en-ciel. The 80' s always will retrieve avid memories for me with all the big hair, the method and the bands. Even if my girl thinks that the look of 80' s is "vintage", the it was a truly a big time!
